Resource Links
This page is a master list of all resources that I have used in my posts regarding learning and education as well as personal equipment I own or have owned.
was the first book I purchased. It covers everything from equipment to astrophotogaphy and is a great resource to get you started.

is a very useful tool. It breaks the night sky up into parts so you can focus on one area of the sky and manually find the things you can't see with the naked eye. The link is to the regular size book but they do offer a Jumbo size option as well. I have both.

Planisphere is a handy tool to find where certain constellations and stars are anytime of the year. The first link is a tutorial on how to make one. Here is a video to assist with learning how to use one. If you would rather just buy one you can get it here. *Note that it is for Latitudes 35 to 45 degrees north. If you will not be observing in that latitude search for one that fits where you live.

At $35 it is hard to pass up such a quality pair of binoculars. They are lightweight and have great clarity. I personal own these and have loved them.
